BOULDER, Colo. – December 16, 2019 – Outdoor Industry Association (OIA) today announced adding Christina Perez to its government affairs office in Washington, D.C. Christina has a strong background managing trade organizations’ policy efforts and most recently managed government affairs efforts for Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA).
“Christina’s deep roots in managing political engagement campaigns and government affairs efforts for several D.C.-based trade organizations will bolster OIA’s work to support the outdoor recreation industry,” said Patricia Rojas-Ungar, vice president of government affairs at Outdoor Industry Association. “Christina will further develop our government affairs work, relationships with leaders throughout the industry and strengthening outdoor recreation’s voice with Congress.”
“I am thrilled to join OIA, contribute to its advocacy efforts and represent the force of the outdoor industry in Washington, D.C.,” Perez said. “OIA does such great work within the outdoor community and leads an ever-growing, powerful voice. I am honored to join an association and industry with a proven record working on behalf of our members advocating for outdoor recreation, sustainability and outdoor participation.”
