Lorna Caputo is OIA’s former market insights manager and current contributor. In that role, she supported the growth of the industry by educating OIA members about key industry and retail trends as well as the behaviors of today’s outdoor consumers. She has written trend articles that cover everything from unique product innovations to supply chain practices that improve a business’s bottom line. Her husband, an avid hiker, introduced Lorna to the outdoors with visits to Glacier, Mount Rainier, Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks. Lorna has more than 10 years of experience in conducting research on industry trends, consumer insights, competitive intelligence and best practices in marketing for various manufacturers and retailers.
