WOOLRICH, Pa. — Jun 28, 2012

Woolrich is proud to announce SportsOneSource Group’s recognition of company president Nick Brayton, with a SGB 40 Under 40 Award. The award honors individuals from all corners of the sporting good industry who are recognized as leaders making a difference in their businesses and the market.

Brayton is a seventh generation descendant of Woolrich founder John Rich. He is the first descendent since his father, Roswell Brayton Jr. who passed away in 2006, to lead the company. Brayton joined the company shortly before the passing of his father in 2006 as a Management Associate. Brayton then moved into the company’s licensing department as an International Licensing Specialist and rose through the ranks to the Director of Domestic Licensing before being named company president.

“I’m honored to be a part of such a distinguished group,” said Brayton. “This award is a great tribute to our current staff and to all those who came before us at Woolrich.”

The forty recipients were selected by a panel of SportsOneSource analysts, editors and industry executives from more than 450 nominations received from around the sporting goods industry.

Brayton and the other honorees will be featured in the July issue of SGB magazine and we will be recognized at a reception and presentation during the Outdoor Retail Summer Market, in Salt Lake City, UT, in August.
