North Texas — April 9, 2026 | Heard Museum & Wildlife Sanctuary

The Texas Outdoor Economy Summit, a one‑day convening that brings together economic developers, conservation leaders, and outdoor business owners, is inviting mission‑aligned organizations to secure leading sponsorships and limited vendor scholarships for the April 9 event at the Heard Museum. The Summit will spotlight strategies that link outdoor access to local economic growth through keynote addresses, moderated panels, hands-on workshops, and a smb / project showcase presentation.

The Summit program features an opening keynote and four moderated panels on topics including investment in outdoor infrastructure, rural and small‑business revitalization, and community resilience. Confirmed partners and presenters include the Outdoor Recreation Roundtable, Texas Parks and Wildlife Department, Founded Outdoors, Slim Pickins Outfitters, Bikes or Death podcast, The Urban Alchemy Collective, and city leaders from Fairview, Cedar Hill, and more. Attendees will also have access to a morning guided bird walk and an evening networking reception.

A limited number of ticketed attendees and select sponsors will be eligible for pre‑registered 1:1 sessions with industry professionals in:

  • Branding and marketing
  • Content creation
  • Podcast hosts, journalists, and writers
  • Web and digital services
  • Financial and business services

“Events like this accelerate partnerships, knowledge sharing, and will support growth of local, outdoor recreation economies,” said Lindsey Brown, cofounder of the Texas Outdoor Recreation Alliance. “We’re inviting organizations that want to be visible where policy, conservation, and commerce meet.”

Sponsorship and vendor opportunities include an exclusive Presenting Sponsor package, Champion and Community Builder tiers, and vendor scholarships priced for small businesses and nonprofits. Sponsor benefits range from on‑stage recognition and program placement to vendor space and curated networking opportunities.
