RECCO and Peak Performance Expand Long-Standing Partnership with First Summer Product Integration

STOCKHOLM, Sweden – June 17, 2026 – RECCO, a global search and rescue technology, is expanding its long-standing partnership with Peak Performance through the launch of the brand’s first summer product equipped with RECCO technology. With the introduction of the new Ridge HIPE ACE® 3L Hiking Jacket for Spring/Summer 2026, Peak Performance becomes a year-round partner to the RECCO system, reinforcing a shared commitment to outdoor safety and searchability.

For more than 20 years, RECCO and Peak Performance have worked together to help make outdoor adventures safer. By integrating RECCO reflectors into products designed for mountain environments, the partnership supports professional rescue teams with technology that can help locate missing or injured people in the event of an emergency.

The Ridge HIPE ACE® 3L Hiking Jacket is designed for hiking and mountain activities during the warmer months. It combines lightweight weather protection with an added layer of safety for outdoor enthusiasts.

“Integrating RECCO technology into our summer collection marks an exciting next step in our long-standing partnership — helping to keep hikers searchable so they can stay focused on the trails ahead,” said Michael Eriksson, Product Developer R&D at Peak Performance.

The RECCO rescue network continues to expand globally, with the system now used by ski resorts and search-and-rescue organizations on more than 900 locations across 32 countries. RECCO continues to grow both its ground-based detector infrastructure and its helicopter-based capabilities for search and rescue, helping professional rescue teams improve response times in remote outdoor environments.

“We are proud to continue our long-term collaboration with Peak Performance as they expand RECCO technology into their summer product range. This launch represents an important step forward in helping make outdoor enthusiasts searchable all year round,” said Fredrik Steinwall, CEO of RECCO. “As interest in mountain activities continues to grow globally, we see increasing demand for effective search-and-rescue solutions, and we are excited to continue expanding the RECCO network across the world together with strong partners like Peak Performance.”

The Ridge HIPE ACE® 3L Hiking Jacket is available in stores and online as part of the Spring/Summer 2026 Peak Performance collection.

For RECCO, this marks another milestone in a period of continued growth, with its rescue network expanding steadily.
