Dillard’s associates put footwear in the Imbox Protection units with nozzles dispensing a PFA-free, water-based formula; consumers can watch the treatment through an internal camera that live streams to the machine’s front screen. The treatment guarantees precise application, drying, and heating tailored to the specific needs of each shoe, protecting suede, leather, textile, nubuck, and synthetic components, among others. After the treatment is completed in-store, shoes are ready for immediate wear.
