CARRBORO, N.C. (Aug. 15, 2024) – Fleet Feet announced today that it has been named to the 2024 Inc. 5000 list of the fastest-growing private companies in America. The list ranks companies based on three years of annual revenue growth and is considered America’s entrepreneurial benchmark. Fleet Feet is No. 2,121 on the list, making it the 4th fastest-growing company in North Carolina and the 48th fastest-growing company in retail.

The 2024 Inc. 5000 includes companies from every state and Puerto Rico ranging in size from one employee up to 262,079 workers, and from roughly $2 million in 2023 revenue up to $15.5 billion. Inc.’s editorial team conducts an intensive secondary vetting process for every company on the list, interviewing select founders and running background checks to guard against companies with a checkered history. To be eligible for the Inc. 5000 list, a company must be privately held, for profit, and independent. The company must also have generated a minimum of $100,000 in revenue in 2020 and a minimum of $2 million in revenue in 2023.
