These prestigious awards, which include the Pioneering Woman Award and the First Ascent Award, were established by OIWC to honor women who have made significant achievements in the bicycle industry while working toward greater diversity and inclusion in the workplace.

“Recognizing female talent and leadership in the bicycle industry is critical to ensuring we’re an industry that values the impact women have on its growth and success,” said Megan Tompkins, BRAIN’s Publisher. “We’re proud to partner with OIWC to honor these women transforming the industry.”

The Pioneering Woman Award honors an industry leader who has proven leadership skills and has paved the way for other women and the First Ascent Award honors an up-and-coming leader who shows strong potential for being an industry influencer.
