Reaching the next generation
The most pressing issue facing our industry is the growing divide between young people and the outdoors, an issue that is connected to childhood obesity, environmental apathy, and the overall decline in outdoor engagement. Through the annual Outsiders Ball, the Outdoor Foundation is uniting industry leaders to inspire the next generation to get outside.
Outsiders Ball: the party with a purpose
In the past four years, Outsiders Ball has raised over $1 million to fund more than 300 community-led outdoor initiatives, providing 65,000 youths with opportunities to experience the outdoors. That’s real, tangible change on a local level.
On July 25, the eve of Outdoor Retailer, we’re doing it all again.
