OUTDOOR RETAILER SNOW SHOW WELCOMES RETAILERS FROM AROUND THE GLOBE BACK TO SALT LAKE CITY FOR FIRST 2023 INDUSTRY GATHERING JANUARY 10-12

Buyers to preview 2023 trends in gear, apparel, technology and footwear, propelling record outdoor participation

 

SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, California – (December 19, 2022) – Outdoor Retailer, the premier U.S. gathering and business event for the $862 billion outdoor industry, is preparing to welcome back international and United States retailers to Salt Lake City for Outdoor Retailer Snow Show from January 10-12, 2023, at the Salt Palace Convention Center. More than 2,600 retail buyers, representing over 1,250 independent specialty retail shops, regional stores, national chains, resorts, and more from across the U.S., as well as buyers from Canada, Australia, and the UAE, are attending Snow Show in January, the first industry gathering of 2023.

Beyond the booths, Snow Show features the industry’s top educators and innovators who will provide unique insights for best business practices through educational opportunities at The Camp, Trend + Design Center, and The Ranger Station, along with sessions from Snowsports Industries America (SIA) and Outdoor Industry Association (OIA). This year, key panel discussion and conversation topics cover supply chain, retail sales trends, digital marketing, sustainable design and packaging, new gear reviews, and more. The Outdoor Retailer Attendee Relations team will also be leading daily meetups to aid in product discovery and an efficient experience.

Outdoor Retailer Match is also available to support retailer and exhibitor connections at Snow Show. This free matchmaking program, supported by a concierge service, helps retail buyers, importer/distributors, and media find exhibitors, make appointments, and send messages prior to arriving in Salt Lake, creating a more efficient on-site experience.

The day prior to Snow Show, Monday, January 9, retail buyers and media can enjoy a day on the snow at The Summit by Outdoor Retailer with professionally curated winter sports activities and guided classes. Additionally, all registered Outdoor Retailer attendees have access to lift ticket discounts for full mountain access, and an evening Media Preview event gives journalists early access to the latest trends.
