Join Outdoor Industry Association, Outdoor Retailer, The Conservation Alliance and Outdoor Alliance this July at Outdoor Retailer to Support U.S. Public Lands

If we’ve said it once, we’ve said it a thousand (maybe a million) times: We Are a Force for Public Lands. Our industry is wholly committed to protecting the outdoor public spaces where people from around the country and around the globe recreate. Outdoor recreation is a bipartisan issue that benefits everyone.

It grows our economy. It’s sustainable. It has an overwhelmingly positive impact on individual and public health.

And yet, it’s being threatened. What can we do about it? We can take a stand and amplify our voices through advocacy work. Outdoor Industry Association, The Conservation Alliance and Outdoor Alliance work are facilitating conversations and active policy work at the local, state and federal level. And at Outdoor Retailer Summer Market, we’re inviting everyone in the industry to join a public display of unity. Join us.

  • This Land is Our Land March for Public Lands, Thursday, July 27: The entire industry is invited to unite and will gather at 4:30 p.m. and march to the Utah State Capitol, where speakers will address public lands’ essential role to the health of the outdoor recreation economy and value to all Americans. Outdoor Retailer Summer Market will continue to serve the industry’s business needs while also serving as an important observance of public lands and the industry’s values. The show will remain open for normal business for those exhibitors wishing to conduct meetings.

  • Public Lands Action Center: Stay tuned for more updates as the show approaches.
