Sustainability Working Group
The OIA Sustainability Working Group includes more than 250 companies voluntarily collaborating to identify and reduce the environmental and social impacts of their products.

Chemicals Management Working Group
The Chemicals Management Working Group drives continuous improvement in chemicals management practices to accelerate the development and use of sustainable chemistry.

Responsible Sourcing Working Group
The Responsible Sourcing Working Group supports the tools, resources, and education necessary for companies to increase visibility into their supply chains and ensure that materials are sourced and products manufactured in a way that protects the welfare of people, animals, and the environment.

Equipment & Accessories Working Group
The Equipment and Accessories Working Group is dedicated to developing the equipment and accessories content around product indexing, ensuring that any indexing tools (the Higg Index, for example) provide sustainability guidance for all product categories represented by the outdoor industry.

Microfibers Task Force
The Microfibers Task Force is working to gather research and identify best practices around microfibers and ocean plastics in an effort to better understand our impact and leverage points as an industry.

Animal Welfare Task Force
The Animal Welfare Task Force supports the development of standards to ensure that animals in all outdoor industry supply chains are treated humanely.
