Skip Yowell Future Leadership Academy


The Skip Yowell Future Leadership Academy is an immersive leadership experience for the next generation of outdoor industry ambassadors and game-changers. Class 4 of the academy was announced on January 24 and they kicked off their mentorships and learning at Outdoor Retailer Snow Show 2019. The class will culminate with capstone projects being presented at Outdoor Retailer Summer Market 2019.

John Adams

The summer after graduating from Sewanee: The University of the South with a degree in Studio Art, John Adams began his career by moving to Alaska for a job in Commercial Salmon Fishing, since that summer John has had multiple roles within the outdoor industry and now finds himself living with his wife and little dog in Golden, CO working for SCARPA and taking a lot of pictures along the way.

Lucas Alberg

A father, husband, author, runner, marketer and musician, Lucas Alberg plays in, and works for, the great outdoors.

Alicia Applegate
