Join the Campaign to Save the Boundary Waters for a webinar looking at the next steps needed to save America’s most popular Wilderness. This webinar is part of the “100 Days of Action” to save the Boundary Waters.

(Ely, MN)–Wednesday March 13 at 10:30AM CST Save the Boundary Waters National Chair Becky Rom and Government Relations Director Alex Falconer will outline the next steps toward saving America’s most popular Wilderness. In the last two weeks the Biden Administration has called for a review of Chilean mining conglomerate Antofagasta’s Twin Metals leases next to Boundary Waters and U.S. Senator Tina Smith released a letter urging Secretaries Haaland and Vilsack to initiate a federal mineral withdrawal of lands near Minnesota’s beloved Wilderness that could result in a twenty year ban on mining. Rom and Falconer will break down what these developments mean for Boundary Waters protection and what next steps are needed for permanent protection.
