The Texas Outdoor Recreation Alliance (TxORA), the Lone Star State’s nonprofit Outdoor Business Alliance, is advancing its 2026 priorities and opening sponsor and vendor registration for the Texas Outdoor Economy Summit on April 9, 2026, in Fairview, Texas. Activated by the City of Fairview and co‑hosted by TxORA and Day One Experts, the Summit will take place at the Heard Natural Science Museum & Wildlife Sanctuary.

The event will bring together outdoor businesses, industry leaders, recreation operators, conservation partners, and community representatives to strengthen Texas’ outdoor business ecosystem. The Summit offers meaningful sponsor visibility, vendor opportunities, and direct engagement with TxORA’s statewide network.

“Outdoor businesses are the backbone of Texas’ recreation economy,” said Alex Brown, Managing Director of TxORA. “This Summit is where industry leadership, small business innovation, and community vision come together. We’re inviting sponsors and partners who want to help shape the future of outdoor commerce, workforce development, and recreation infrastructure across Texas.”

Industry Participation Opportunities

TxORA is seeking:

  • Summit Sponsors — outdoor brands, manufacturers, retailers, and conservation‑aligned organizations ready to support and engage with Texas’ outdoor economy.
  • Outdoor Vendors & Makers — product companies, outfitters, guides, and recreation operators interested in showcasing gear, services, and innovations.
  • Small Business Showcase Participants — early‑stage outdoor businesses and nonprofits seeking visibility and support.

Sponsors and vendors will be integrated into workshops, panels, networking sessions, and media engagement opportunities—reflecting TxORA’s commitment to elevating outdoor business voices and strengthening the statewide industrial base.

Aligned With TxORA’s 2026 Strategic Priorities

The Spring Summit directly supports TxORA’s 2026 priorities to build a stronger, modernized, and resilient outdoor industry. Industry partners who participate will help advance statewide efforts to:

  • Strengthen local and small outdoor enterprises through shared learning, exposure, and business development support.
  • Advance the outdoor industrial base and workforce pipeline by connecting manufacturers, suppliers, and training partners.
  • Enhance recreation infrastructure through community‑aligned planning, technical guidance, and cross‑sector collaboration.
  • Improve statewide ecosystem coordination through advisory councils, partnerships, and regional engagements.
  • Champion supportive policies and advocacy that reinforce the economic, health, and community benefits of outdoor recreation.

These priorities reflect TxORA’s role as a statewide convener—uniting businesses, communities, and value‑aligned partners to elevate the outdoor economy.
