TransRockies Race Series, a global leader in adventure stage races, today announces Garneau, creator of durable and performance cycling apparel, as the official apparel and stage title sponsor for TransRockies’ newest event, Gravel Royale happening this August in British Columbia.
“We’re stoked to be able to provide our athletes with premium cycling kits from Garneau,” said Aaron McConnell, President of TransRockies. “Garneau is well known for their thoughtful design and attention to detail when it comes to the creation of cycling apparel, making them a fantastic partner for Gravel Royale. We’ve been a long-time fan of their ‘do-it-all’ mentality and apparel that spans cycling disciplines, and can’t wait to see their jerseys on our course.”
For Gravel Royale, Garneau is excited to introduce new kits customized for the event. The Clutch Jersey and Corrige bibs will be available for men and women in a Gravel Royale and Rocky Mountain inspired design. Additionally, pieces from Garneau’s gravel collection will be available for purchase before, during and after the event.
“We are pumped to continue our longstanding partnership with Transrockies. Their quality of events and meticulous approach to designing courses and event experience are second to none,” says Michael Britten, Sales Director at Garneau. “The Gravel Royale is the perfect backdrop and the essence of the type of adventure our gravel collection has been designed for. We look forward to it being worn on course and accessible to all riders looking for performant, breathable and versatile apparel that can handle the challenge this route or any adventure will bring.”
Last week TransRockies made the official announcement the event will be proceeding this August. British Columbia confirmed that the province will enter Step 3 of it’s Restart Plan, and also announced that a maximum outdoor group size of 5,000 people will be allowed under Step 3, which is the key detail that TransRockies has been waiting for to move forward confidently with TransRockies Gravel Royale.
