Workshop overview video:

Instruction will cover a wide variety of topics from creative imaging making to workflow management of digital photography, from breaking in to the business to life on the road. There will be sessions dealing with career development, networking, new opportunities in multimedia and more. The week will be split between field sessions in the shadow of the Tetons and a classroom setting in Teton Village, with an overnight camping trip added to the mix.

The faculty brings a wealth of national and international experience to the week in Jackson. They’ll use photos, video and personal stories from the field to discuss how they broke into the highly coveted and competitive action/adventure industry, and how they remain at the top of prestigious client lists.

In this practical, informative, and inspirational workshop, participants will learn techniques and keys to success as we discuss everything from journalistic philosophy to the hands-on business of “the business”: travel tips, equipment pointers and suggestions, technical aspects of their work, and finally the level of passion, commitment, and perseverance required to enter and remain in this exciting branch of photography.
