Terry Atwood named President of NOC Retail Division

Sutton Bacon, CEO of the Nantahala Outdoor Center, has announced new hires to augment the company’s leadership team.
Terry Atwood has been named President of NOC’s Retail Division. Terry returns to the outdoor industry where he spent a decade as a senior merchandising executive at Galyan’s. He then joined Gap and led the creation and development of its Piperlime.com multi-channel brand. Most recently, Terry was Vice President of E-Commerce at Academy Sports & Outdoors and Vice President of E-Commerce at Kirkland’s Home.

Donna Campbell has been named Chief Financial Officer. Donna joins NOC from a 14-year career at ESPN where she served as Vice President and Controller. She led all accounting functions for the $2.2 billion sports cable television network, managing both an international and domestic staff of 130 in the accounting, purchasing, and travel departments.
Jay Curwen is NOC’s new General Merchandise Manager. Jay has had a long tenure in the outdoor industry, most notably as Vice President of Sales at Highgear, Regional Sales Director for several leading brands such as The North Face, Patagonia, and Sierra Designs, and as GM of Black Dome. Jay is a national champion adventure racer and a two-time finisher of the Ironman World Championships.
