The Conservation Alliance’s #WeKeepItWild campaign will run from April 19-25

BEND, Ore. (April 19, 2022) – Top brands are coming together to support The Conservation Alliance by donating 5% of all online sales from April 19-25 as part of the organization’s #WeKeepItWild campaign. The coalition of member companies participating this year includes: All Good, Backpacker’s Pantry, Farm to Feet, GU, Heather’s Choice, Peak Design, Nite Ize, Nomadix, Royal Robbins, Toad&Co, and Topo Athletic.

The campaign is a way for Conservation Alliance members to join together in support of the organization and share their commitment to conservation directly with their audience. During the sale, consumers can shop the participating brands and help to elevate The Conservation Alliance’s work to fund and advocate for the protection of North America’s wild places.

“The Conservation Alliance was established in 1989 to bring like-minded brands together for the protection of wild places. The #WeKeepItWild campaign does just that by collectively raising funds that, when combined, have a much greater impact,” said Conor McElyea, Director of Membership and Partnerships at The Conservation Alliance. “Our members are vital to our work—by paying annual membership dues that pass through to our grant fund, dictating how and where those funds are allocated, and throughout the year, using their voice as advocates for the protection of public lands. We are sincerely heartened to see this group of member organizations going above and beyond to support our mission. We hope that this program can continue to grow and become a true win-win for both the Alliance and the participating brands.”

“Peak Design has been a proud supporter of The Conservation Alliance since 2016,” said Annie Nyborg, Sustainability Director at Peak Design. “We are excited to join forces with these 10 fellow member companies to raise awareness about the importance of protecting wild places and to direct increased funding to the Alliance’s incredible work.”

During the We Keep It Wild fundraising campaign last April, online sales from 14 participating member companies helped raise over $50,000 for The Conservation Alliance. Funds raised online from these companies will help the Alliance protect wild lands and waters across North America, supporting a vision of a planet where wild places, wildlife, and people thrive together.
