Norrøna, the four-season Norwegian outdoor brand known for its sustainably built premium outerwear, strengthens its U.S. sales team with the establishment of three key regional partners, Summit Sales NW in the Pacific Northwest, Black Dog Sales Group in the Rocky Mountains and Intermountain West, and Bluebird Sales Group in the Northeast.

Summit Sales NW has a richly-storied tenure as a bedrock outdoor industry independent sales agency. Based in the Pacific Northwest, the agency is led by Kris Stahl and Rob Birzell and represents Osprey, Scarpa, Cascade Designs, G3 and The Landmark Project in addition to Norrøna.

Norrøna tapped industry veteran and Black Dog Sales principal, Ian Decker, as Rocky Mountain and Intermountain West sales representative in October of 2020. Decker and Black Dog Sales Group have a proven track record of taking industry-leading brands to the next level in the Rocky Mountains and Intermountain West. Black Dog Sales Group also represents AKU, Stereo Skis and Tread Labs.

Representing Norrøna in the Northeast, Bluebird Sales Group is led by David Nihan, a passionate skier and biker with over 15 years of successful sales experience. The group also represents outdoor brands, Fischer Skis, Julbo, Komperdell and G-Form.

“The integrity, sales experience, proven results and key industry relationships that David, Ian, Kris and Rob bring to the brand are invaluable,” says U.S. Sales Manager Adam Chamberlain. “Norrøna’s brand values and exceptional products are standing out to outdoor adventurers in the United States. The addition of these talented individuals and their teams will build on our momentum and help us make good on our promises to best support our business through outstanding specialty retailer partnerships.”

New and existing retail partners are encouraged to reach out to our sales team for support:

About Norrøna: In 1929, Jørgen Jørgensen, a Norwegian outdoor enthusiast, set norrøna’s bearing: to search for the best in technical advancements, to create the ultimate in performance product. Today, four generations later, norrøna is still a privately-held and family-operated company based in Oslo, Norway, seeking to redefine the meaning of fit, function and finish in sustainably sourced and built technical outerwear. www.norrona.com
