Recent hires broaden marketing and retailer support.
Nikwax, the international leader in technical cleaners and waterproofing products for outdoor gear and apparel, has announced new hires accompanying its recent North American headquarters move. The new marketing staff will support current and future growth of the company in the outdoor industry and beyond.
Selina Wagner has been hired as Content Coordinator, responsible for design, photography and video to enhance Nikwax’s messaging across all channels including print, web, blog and social media. Selina comes from the University of Florida with a robust background in marketing, graphic design, and fine art.
Kaelee McCloskey is responsible for enhancing retailer support, coordinating staff training and information, as well as managing trade shows and consumer events as the Marketing Coordinator – Retail & Events. Kaelee hails from the University of Washington with a passion for business marketing and events.
The hires follow Nikwax’s recent headquarters move. The new space accommodates staff growth as well as offering a central location allowing employees to easily commute via foot, bike, or public transit when working in the office. Improved IT systems and internet capabilities also help boost productivity whether staff are working from home or the office.
“I’m thrilled to have Selina and Kaelee on board,” said Heid Dale Allen, VP of Marketing. “These positions will provide more support to our retail partners while also elevating our messaging and communications. With these two joining the team, I’m proud to note that women comprise over 50% of the Nikwax North America team, including key roles in finance, customer service, logistics, and marketing.”
