Kuju Coffee, the leading single-serve, pour-over brand in the US, has named JAM Collective as its public relations agency of record. JAM Collective is an accomplished boutique agency specializing in public relations, social media, communications, and strategic partnerships.
Founded by Eagle Scout brothers, Jeff and Justin Wiguna, following a successful Kickstarter campaign in 2015, Kuju Coffee was the first outdoor brand to offer a compact, quality single-serve coffee option to compliment the beauty of outdoor adventures. The brand focuses on its Source-to-Soul initiative striving for impact in every part of its business from packing its coffee products using 100% wind-powered facilities, to ethically sourced coffee from farms that support local livelihoods, to giving back directly to US National Parks as a member of 1% of the Planet.
The Kuju Coffee product assortment includes single-serve portable pour-over in a selection of blends and premium single origins.
JAM Collective will work collaboratively with Kuju Coffee to build and support the brand’s communication strategy and bolster its social media marketing and programs.
“Since Kuju got its start in the outdoor channel with retailers like REI, Sportsman’s Warehouse and Bass Pro, it was always important for us to work with an organization who knows that world as much as we do, if not better, and JAM is that,” said Jeff Wiguna, co-founder of Kuju Coffee. “Not to mention it just felt right – kind of like sipping a good cup of pour over at the top of a mountain. The best things in life we can’t really explain so we’ll stop there!”
“If you know JAM, you know that there is nothing we love more than coffee. Plus, we are passionate about spending time in the outdoors. Kuju brings two of our greatest loves together!” said Julie Atherton, founder and owner of JAM Collective. “We are excited to share news about the finest cup of coffee you can sip in the wilderness and tell the world more about the incredible team that invented this awesome product. They have an incredible product and story.”
Working alongside Atherton will be JAM Collective’s July Zaleski and Deborah Pleva.
Kuju Coffee joins the family of JAM Collective brands which include nationally and internationally recognized clients including Osprey Packs, OtterBox, prAna, Snow Peak and Vasque Footwear.
About Kuju Coffee
Founded by two Eagle Scout brothers who got tired of instant coffee while camping, Kuju Coffee is a pour over coffee brand on a mission to Cultivate Rejuvenation through incredible coffee products that inspire us to wander, adventure, and experience the great outdoors. On that camping trip, Jeff and Justin found themselves surrounded by the most beautiful scenery: sweeping sunrises, golden mesas, and awe-inspiring constellations, but their coffee didn’t match up. So, they set out on a journey to find a better way and created the Pocket PourOver®️, the original single-serve pour over in the US. Today, Kuju can be found in places such as REI, Whole Foods, Sprouts, Bass Pro Shops, Amazon and kujucoffee.com. For Wherever You Wander™.
