On the heels of the category-defining Spring/Summer 2013 launch of KEEN.CNX, a collection of lightweight, low-profile styles, KEEN brings the CNX design philosophy and inspiration to waterproof and year-round styles in Trailhead and BLVD categories. Perfect for adventurers on city streets or off the beaten path, the addition of Fall/Winter 2013 CNX styles combines ultra-light technology with the KEEN promise of durability and protection.

“Last season’s successful KEEN.CNX launch was our first cross-category launch since KEEN’s inception. As we head into Fall/Winter, we are building on the excitement with waterproof technology, bringing another dimension to the lightweight and low-profile KEEN.CNX story,” says KEEN’s Outdoor Business Unit Director Jeff Dill.

The Fall/Winter 2013 KEEN.CNX styles feature KEEN.DRY and KEEN.ZORB technologies for all-season, long-lasting comfort. KEEN.DRY is a waterproof and breathable membrane that lets vapor out without letting water in. KEEN.ZORB technology ensures comfort every step of the way. Featuring a full-length foam-based cushioning, KEEN.ZORB delivers instant step-in comfort.

For outdoor enthusiasts, KEEN debuts the Alpha WP CNX for men and women. The waterproof multisport shoe boasts KEEN.CNX features, essential KEEN fit and a low-profile, proprietary lightweight PU midsole, making the Alpha WP CNX ultra cushioned while remaining supportive.  From the forest trail to the dog park, the Alpha WP CNX is an all-around shoe for active individuals seeking the adventure around every corner. (MSRP $120)

For day hikers and excursion-seekers looking for more support, KEEN introduces the Depart WP CNX for men and women. This mid-height style combines KEEN.CNX performance and technology with the reliability of a light hiker. KEEN.DRY technology, along with lightweight synthetic overlays makes the Depart WP CNX a great option for hiking wet and muddy trails. Feet stay comfortable and supported during long treks thanks to KEEN.ZORB cushioning, a contoured arch and KEEN’s proprietary lightweight PU midsole. Weighing only 12.5 oz (10.1oz for women) the KEEN Depart WP CNX takes the term “light hiker” to a whole new level. (MSRP $130)

In the casual category, KEEN introduces the Bleecker Chukka CNX for men. This low profile, full-grain leather chukka combines on-trend design and all-day comfort to create a go-to shoe for the man about town. Reverse strobel construction provides a streamlined interior. The metatarsal ridge, TPU stability shank and proprietary lightweight PU midsole provide comfort and support. (MSRP $120)

Also this season, the ladies get an infusion of lightweight style with the Delancey Boot WP CNX. A full-grain leather upper and KEEN.DRY technology blends fashion and function, perfect for the work week and weekend urban adventures. A medial side zipper and stretch panel provide easy entry, while reverse strobel construction with KEEN.ZORB technology create a smooth and streamlined interior. KEEN’s proprietary lightweight PU midsole compound alongside a TPU stability shank ensures long-lasting comfort and support, while a metatarsal ridge allows for natural motion and fit. (MSRP $180)
