Indyeva, an outdoor clothing company for women with a focus on thoughtful, sustainable design and manufacturing, is set to release its Spring/Summer 2022 (SS22) apparel collection which features sustainably-made, versatile active outdoor apparel and its first ever trail-to-river swimwear. The new women’s outdoor clothing collection will launch in April at specialty retail stores in the U.S. and Canada and online at Indyeva.com.
Working towards its goal of using 100% recycled synthetic fibers and natural or organic fibers by the year 2025, half of the raw materials in Indyeva’s SS22 collection are made up of sustainable components:
- Of a total of 16 fabrics, two materials are made up of recycled polyester certified GRS (Global Recycled Standard), including the new Quick Dry Knit collection
- Three are natural and biological fibers or plant-based
- Three are certified Bluesign®
- One material uses the Polygiene Odor Control Technology so you can wash less and wear more
“With sustainability and functionality at the core of the designs, the new athletic and swimwear styles were created with the outdoor enthusiast in mind to allow for one-of-a-kind experiences and the chance to enjoy a deeper connection to nature without compromising comfort,” explained Jean-Pierre Fernandez, founder and CEO of Indyeva. “Ideal for trail hikes that include a refreshing dip in the water, the active swimwear and Knit Stretch Tech apparel pieces for the new season work perfectly when worn together.”
Highlights of the spring/summer collection include new Knit Stretch Tech pieces that are designed specifically for hiking and fitness. Made from quick-dry fabric with a wicking finish that also provides good support, the new pieces were created to extend your hikes and keep you moving in comfort and style.
