Introducing the LE2 All-Day Adventure Flask
Take a journey through California’s iconic mountains with Hibear’s latest artist collaboration, the Sierra Sippin’, featuring Bryn Merrell. This Limited Edition All-Day Adventure Flask whisks you through the Sierra geographically, with Tahoe being the Northern part of the Sierra and Whitney being on the Southern end (interpreted on the bottle design as left to right). Working with Merrell was a dream for the Hibear team, who were already huge fans of her artwork and the local playground she draws inspiration from. Now the All-Day Adventure Flask will look right at home, crafting everything from pourovers to cocktails, where it was originally designed by Founder, Mark Tsigounis.
Merrell spent several years working in the outdoor industry before forging her own path as an independent artist. Spending most of her free time outdoors, Bryn creates a playful and whimsical interpretation of her surroundings through a variety of mediums, such as bike fenders. Many of her pieces are reflections of her love and fascination for the Sierra Range. For the LE2 collaboration with Hibear, she depicts Lake Tahoe, Half Dome, Banner Peak in Ansel Adams Wilderness, Bridal Falls, and Mount Whitney. “I was ecstatic to receive the news that I was selected to create a custom bottle design with Hibear! I’ve been daydreaming about using the All-Day Adventure Flask on long backpacking trips, lakeside relaxing, and sunrise summits here in the Sierra. Our home seemed like the perfect muse to make this bottle design into a reality,” says Merrell.
Alongside this limited release, Hibear collaborated with another local brand, DESO, to produce a USA-made Sierra Sippin’ Corduroy Hat. The unstructured 5-panel cap features 100% cotton corduroy, leather strap adjustment, and a woven patch designed by Bryn Merrell on the front panel. Quantities of the Sierra Sippin’ hat are limited.
