February 11, 2022 (Poulsbo, WA) – Grundéns, producer of the world’s leading fishing apparel and footwear, proudly announces that bass fishing ambassador Bradley Roy won the Major League Fishing Bass Pro Tour stop at Caney Creek, Lake D’Arbonne, Bussey Brake in West Monroe, Louisiana this week. A total weight of 26 pounds 2 ounces in the Championship round propelled Roy to his first MLF Bass Pro Tour stage win.
“Bradley’s first stage win of a Bass Pro Tour is an exciting moment for both him and us, ” says Grundens VP Marketing Ash Williams. “He proved throughout the tournament that he can fish through difficult conditions to out compete the best anglers in the world. He wore our SeaKnit boat shoe throughout the tournament and this is the second time it has been worn by a Grundens ambassador to secure an MLF stage win, further demonstrating that it holds up in some of the most demanding bass fishing conditions. Our commitment to the sport of bass fishing is stronger than ever and we’re delighted with how this week went.”
Bradley Roy boasts 11 career top 10 finishes and now has an MLF Bass Pro Tour stage win to add to his long list of accolades. At 19, the Kentucky native became the youngest angler to fish a Bassmaster Elite Series event in 2010. Roy also hosts an annual high school bass fishing tournament in Kentucky and two benefit tournaments supporting post 9/11 active-duty military and their families.
The SeaKnit Shoe is a contemporary lace up sneaker offering anglers superior performance and comfort. Equipped with a 100% nylon seamless knit upper, a PU overlay that provides light water resistance on wet surfaces, a non-marking natural gum rubber outsole with razor-cut siping, a shock-absorbing midsole, and comfort footbed, the Sea Knit was designed from the boat deck up. Now having supported two victorious anglers in their respective MLF Tournaments, the Sea Knit, also worn by Skeet Reese in his Tackle Warehouse Pro Circuit stage win, is a proven tournament winning shoe.
