LifeHandle, a new direct-to-consumer brand that manufactures assistive carrying devices and accessories, today announces the launch of its first two products, the Hands-Free Comfort Leash and the All-Purpose Handle. The Hands-Free Comfort Leash is designed to distribute your dog’s pull force across your core while keeping both hands free, while the All-Purpose Handle allows you to easily hold kids, bags, or other heavy items with one arm, and can also be used as leverage to lift heavy packages or boxes. “LifeHandle was born out of necessity,” said Founder Joe Wold. “I was comforting my crying baby at night, and experiencing arm and shoulder pain due to a recent accident. I researched several options to take the strain off my shoulder and nothing seemed to fit. The best option was a wrap, which would wake up the baby when it was removed, therefore defeating the purpose. I knew I needed something more versatile, so I developed the first prototype using a guitar strap and some jump rope, and quickly determined that the sling and handle needed to be strong enough to hold a child, and easily adjustable for quick release. That’s how the idea for LifeHandle was born.”
LifeHandle offers solutions for active families who need to carry gear, children and pets – often simultaneously. LifeHandle’s product line consists of various accessories, such as the Hands-Free Comfort Leash, the All-Purpose Handle and Clip-On Drink Holder, that attach to the LifeHandle Base Sling with patent-pending technology. The Base Sling has a welded ring connector that features the “hub” accessory, which can be held on its own to help as a weight transfer assist while holding precious cargo. The Base Sling features a comfortable 6mm neoprene pad across the entire length for support and 20 daisy-chain attachment points with three reflector locations for better visibility in low-light conditions.
