Today, Garmont, the premier Italian performance footwear brand, introduces its Spring 2022 collection, headlined by the versatile new Groove Mid G-Dry hiking shoe, which features Garmont’s new fit developed specifically to serve the North American consumer. After extensive research and analysis on the anatomy of the North American foot, the outdoor brand’s new styles feature an updated fit and last for comfort and durability. The new fit offers a wider toe box with more space around the toes that mimics the shape of an American foot, resulting in a shoe that has an Italian technical look with a North American feel.

The Groove Mid G-Dry ($160) is a versatile mid-cut hiker designed for on- and off-trail activities. The out-of-the-box comfort fit delivers confidence and protection at every step, while the G-Dry construction keeps the elements at bay. The Groove Mid G-Dry features an EVA bi-density midsole and GTF® OPALE outsole for more support on the heel, a softer sole for cushioning and comfort, and a large, rubber contact area at the toe, which provides 360-degree traction and grip.
