BOSTON, July 7th, 2023 – Vibram and NIKE, Inc. announce their new partnership, bringing Vibram’s leading technology and exclusive sole design to Nike’s trail footwear offering. The first product of this collaboration is the Nike Ultrafly Trail, a new trail racing innovation.

The highly anticipated Nike Ultrafly Trail, which combines Nike’s cutting-edge technology with Vibram’s renowned innovations, is designed to be advanced, sleek, grippy, and fast to offer athletes an exceptional trail running experience.
The Nike Ultrafly Trail introduces groundbreaking innovations to the Nike Trail line to help give runners the speed, comfort and grip they need to navigate challenging trails at a rapid pace. For the first time in Nike Trail, the Ultrafly incorporates a carbon Flyplate, positioned between the ZoomX foam and a fabric-wrapped midsole. The outsole of the Ultrafly debuts Vibram’s Litebase technology in a Nike running shoe, offering trail runners a proprietary lightweight, agile outsole design with the award-winning Vibram Traction Lug technology and Vibram MegaGrip compound.

Recognizing athletes’ need for exceptional grip and traction on rough terrain, the Nike and Vibram designers joined forces to incorporate their expertise into the latest Nike Trail footwear innovation.
The Nike Ultrafly Trail has already garnered rave reviews from Nike and Vibram’s elite trail racing teams around the world and will be available in limited quantities in Europe beginning July 27 and available for all runners globally starting in August at nike.com and select specialty retailers.
