An exploration through the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina
Kitsbow releases “Masters of None” — the fourth film in the 2021 36 Hours in Kitsbow series. Directed and edited by Will Fryar and produced by Michael Lowther of Overmountain Cycles, this short film shares the everyday adventures of friends in their and Kitsbow’s own backyard – the Blue Ridge Mountains in North Carolina.

“This film was inspired by the camaraderie of good friends, who each have their given skillset, to take a journey into our beautiful state’s wooded backyard,” explains Will Fryar, ‘Masters of None’ director and editor. “This journey wasn’t about the destination. Rather, it was about the many encounters, roads, rivers and shared times together. Though we are all very different, our love for cycling is what brought us together, and what better way to enjoy this shared love than to travel together across the place we all call home.”

The 36 Hours in Kitsbow Film Series highlights unique, short films created by cyclists that tell the story of a cycling adventure undertaken in just 36 hours. This year, six grant recipients were awarded grants of cash and gear from Kitsbow to help underwrite the cost of making their films.
“We love to see an adventure close to home,” said David Billstrom, CEO of Kitsbow Cycling Apparel. “Will and his crew did a great job of showcasing the expansive and beautiful gravel roads we have here in western North Carolina and just how big and impactful the bike community is in the area.”
