ROCKFORD, Mich.

Chaco Footwear, the iconic outdoor lifestyle brand, announced today the launch of The 2022 Pride Collection. Created in partnership with Brave Trails, these vibrant, color block, and Pride-inspired sandals are ready for any adventure.

Brave Trails is a non-profit organization that helps LGBTQ+ youth find their people, place, and passion. They offer leadership summer camps in California & Maryland, family camps, mental health services, and year-round leadership programming. To celebrate the launch of this collection, Chaco has donated to Brave Trails to support its mission of building the next generation of LGBTQ+ change makers.

“Everyone should have freedom of self-expression, acceptance, and love, and that’s what we try to create a Brave Trails,” said Coby Pfaff, Operations Director at Brave Trails.

The Pride Collection consists of rainbow Chillos Slides (MSRP $60), and bold color bock Z/1 Classic (MSRP: $110), Z/2 Classic (MSRP: $110), and Kids Ecotread (MSRP: $70) styles. The line is available in both men’s and women’s sizing. Chaco’s Z/sandals are durably constructed out of only eight parts and are fully repairable; every year, more than 20,000 well-loved pairs of sandals are repaired at the ReChaco facility in Rockford, MI.

“At Chaco, we value self-expression and building a welcoming Chaco Nation community,” said Lauren Poole, Sr. Director of Marketing, Chaco. “This collection celebrates LGBTQ+ members of our community, and we are thrilled to continue our partnership with an organization like Brave Trails that is building the next generation of LGBTQ leaders.”

2022 marks the second year of the Chaco and Brave Trails partnership. Learn more about this year’s collection at chacos.com/brave-trails.
