REDONDO BEACH, Ca.

REDONDO BEACH, Ca. (April 22, 2021) — Today, Body Glove launches its latest sustainable swimwear collection designed by professional surfer and Body Glove athlete, Tatiana Weston-Webb. The new collection is the second eco swimwear line from Body Glove and Tatiana, featuring a new floral print inspired by Tatiana’s home of Kauai. The collection features Tatiana’s favorite surfable swim styles, including a bikini, one-piece, long-sleeved paddle suit, and rash guard, all purposefully designed with support, function, and style in mind.

This collection launches at an exciting time for Tatiana as she is back competing on the World Surf League (WSL) Championship Tour, where she is currently ranked third overall. After nearly four months, the championship tour finally made its long-awaited return, kicking off the tour’s Australian leg with four different stops across the country. While the WSL tour is top-of-mind for Tatiana Weston-Webb, the professional surfer is looking forward to July when she will represent Brazil at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. This summer’s contest marks surfing’s debut as an official Olympic sport.

“The past year has been an incredible and challenging journey, especially while going through the uncertainty and delay of the WSL Tour and Olympics. As a professional surfer, my goal is to always bring my best to competitions. I’m looking forward to seeing the results of my training over the past year as I get back on tour and help bring surfing to the world stage in Tokyo this summer,” says Weston-Webb. “Body Glove has always been an incredibly supportive partner, which is why I’m so excited we were able to collaborate on another swimwear collection in the midst of an unpredictable year.”

The new collection features a fun and flattering tropical print in trustworthy bikini shapes, modern silhouettes, and UPF 50 active styles that offer comfort and secure fit for long days in the water and sun.

“We were thrilled to collaborate with Tati for a third time on these new swimwear pieces. She brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the design process, so it’s easy to trust her intuition and direction,” says Nick Meistrell, senior marketing director at Body Glove. “Watching her persevere and rise above challenges over the past year has been incredible. She is an integral part of the Body Glove family, and we are honored to support her throughout her endeavors and elevate her voice through this collection.”
