MARBLEHEAD, Mass., (July 18, 2023) – Italy’s Unleash Your Nature (UYN, pronounced “win”) a Trerè Innovationcompany, today announced the debut of UYN® Running for spring 2024, the first running shoe engineered from socks, for road, trail and cross trail for men and women. The proprietary design and technology features reflect two years of intensive research and collaboration with Trerè Innovation’s state of the art research and design facility AREAS (Academy for Research and Engineering in Apparel and Sports) and the Cerism Center of the University of Verona, examining running in outdoor environments and the study of neuro-muscular reactions. Specifically, the line includes three styles: the Synapsis for road running, ($179.00); the Neuron for Trail Running ($179.00); and the 6Sense for Cross Trail ($199.00). UYN Running will be available at select specialty stores and online starting spring 2024 at uynsports.com/en_us.
UYN’s footwear engineers are using the next generation treadmill called the Reaxing platform treadmill pioneered by the Italian company Reaxing. Unlike traditional treadmills, the Reaxing platform inclines in all directions in a sudden motion, replicating the unpredictable transitions of outdoor running. Specifically created for neuro-reactive training, this treadmill enabled UYN to study the true conditions of the outdoors in a controlled environment. Neuro-reactive training focuses on the appropriate body positioning and posture to promote proper dynamic muscular stabilization during running.

UYN Running’s zero-seam structure wraps around the foot and stabilizes it while respecting the natural shape. This design prevents abrasion and hot spots and provides best in class flexibility, stability and breathability.
Our technologies include:
- Select uppers made with Flexicorn bio-fiber, a sustainable alternative to elastane, derived from corn seeds for extraordinary elasticity, resilience, quick drying and UV-resistance;
- Merino Wool for a soft feel on the skin and temperature regulation for all seasons, cooling when the foot is hot, warming the foot when its cold;
- The Heel Active Ligament Outerframe (H.A.L.O) providing support for the sudden changes in direction, while stabilizing the heel and steering the foot into a neutral path from the very first roll-off movement;
- Connected with the H.A.L.O. is the Power Chassis, a rigid platform built into the midsole, making the shoe more rigid and providing superior energy return for a smoother run;
- The Freebound® heel design cushions and stores the forces generated around the heel;
- The ultra-lightweight UYN Propulsyon foam uses proprietary technologies giving the runner the best possible energy return, releasing impact pressure into the next stride
The UYN Synapsis for Road Running
This shoe is designed for long runs on the road from training to racing. It has exceptional ventilation, stability and support and features Flexicorn. Wavy-shaped ribs in the tread design distribute impact forces laterally and give just the right traction for road surfaces.
The UYN Neuron For Trailing Running
Precise, stable and responsive, the UYN Neuron shoe is engineered for speed and comfort in trail running. The hexagonal lugs ensure high traction on all surfaces. The low-rigidity Power Chassis offers greater protection on uneven ground for stones, rocks and roots. The Flexicorn bio-fiber upper is elastic, quick-drying, and resilient.
The UYN 6Sense for Cross Trail
Intended for mountain running on the most demanding trails in the most challenging conditions, this shoe delivers optimal stability, enhanced motion control and rapid adaptation to uneven terrain. The sock-derived upper in merino wool guarantees a precise and wraparound fit, at the same time being abrasion-resistant and waterproof thanks to UYN’s Membrain 115 built directly into the knit, preventing water from passing through while remaining highly flexible and breathable.

In addition to UYN Running, UYN is expanding its Urban Trail collection designed for urban adventures and trail explorations adding the Aethon ($199.00), Arion ($169.00), and Artax ($169.00). The Urban Trail Naked, for light trekking and everyday life, will have expanded colors in all white and all black.
UYN is scheduled to open its first store in Boston fall 2023.
