The integrated bike lifestyle is a fashion trend we can sink our passion into for greener communities in America.  Vogue Magazine recently stated, “bike style is the new street style”.  My Alibi Clothing is releasing a new essential collection for Spring 2013 to help women look and feel beautiful on (and off) a bike.  This collection is much different then anything else on the market as it merges the high performance qualities and features to making cycling more comfortable in feminine classic styles that coordinate with any woman’s style.
“It’s kind of like make-up.  Every face needs a nice layer of sunscreen first then from there whether you add a little lip gloss and mascara or go all out is up to your style,” says designer Abbie Durkee, “I designed this line to flatter the diversity of women’s figures in a way that she will want to wear them all day long… everyday.”  Being able to go from the office, to dinner or a yoga class by bike just by simple accessorizing is the goal of this collection.  My Alibi Clothing offers another layer of comfort for longer commutes (or just that extra little bit under skirts) with the Bloomers that are gaining popularity all over the world as an innovative (and sexy) chamois garment.  The Bloomers were recently published in Bicycling Magazine’s July 2012 issue as “what’s Hot”.
My Alibi Clothing is currently looking for retailers that cater to women living an active lifestyle, to debut this full collection in Spring 2013.  If your store is inspiring women to think a little greener and integrate the bike into their active lifestyle, then let My Alibi Clothing help you merchandise this trend.  For more information please contact Abbie Durkee for the current lookbook and merchandising options at
