STAMFORD, CT (September 18, 2003) -The BALANCE BAR® Adventure Sprints will air in half-hour features, while the BALANCE BAR® 24-Hour Adventures will be broadcast in hour-long shows. Each show, produced by Octagon Television, will feature coed elite teams, as well as selected non-elite teams as they attempt to complete the race course set for them. Shows feature pre- and post-event interviews, as well as highlights from the BALANCE BAR® Kids Adventure and spectator area.

“The national exposure the shows give to the Series and the sport of adventure racing is great,” said captain of Team BALANCE BAR Harald Zundel. “When watching these shows, viewers can see the immense excitement and competitiveness in each athlete, from the elite racer to the weekend warrior. I’m really looking forward to watching each week.”

Additionally, for those interested in adventure racing, the shows offer a valuable learning experience, allowing the viewer to get a true taste of the BALANCE BAR Adventure Race Series.
