In an effort to support and drive the industry toward a circular economy, we are currently evaluating the existing landscape of recycling recovery for hardgoods products at end-of-life. This session will focus on the first group of materials that are commonly used in outdoor hardgoods products: metals including stainless steel, carbon steel, and aluminum. We will share our findings about the current state of waste recovery programs in the United States, identify the key system gaps around recycling recovery, and discuss potential opportunities for leveraging industry collaboration to improve circularity.
