Building Intuitive Design Organizations

Design Empathy, Service Design, and UX Design can improve the inner workings of the apparel industry. As designers we apply these concepts to consumer needs on a daily basis, but rarely do we employ these practices in the development of our own design/ product creation process. Take a step back from focusing on our end users needs and explore how we can build a system that better defines goals, streamlines communication, empowers stakeholders, emboldens designers, creates more thoughtful product, and better solves business opportunities. Imagine what an ideal apparel design organization could look like and the benefits it would bring to the consumer, the practitioner, and the business.
