The 2017  Outdoor Nation Campus Challenge registration is now open, and colleges across the country are signing up to compete in the March-Madness -Meets-Mother-Nature competition that aims to get as many young adults outside as possible. 

The student-led, school-endorsed program offers outdoor brands an extraordinary opportunity to reach and authentically activate one of the most coveted consumer markets: college students.

Last year, the Campus Challenge, a national initiative of the Outdoor Foundation:

  • engaged 16,500 students
  • inspired 123,000 outdoor activities
  • culminated in students spending nearly 140,000 hours outside
  • was mentioned in 2,700 tweets and 20,000 Instagram posts, many of them featuring photos of participants wearing and using outdoor gear and apparel.
