Resilient Federal Forests Act of 2017

Status: Introduced

This bill will expedite and improve forest management activities on National Forest System lands and other public lands to mitigate the risk of wildfire to overgrown forest lands. OIA is opposed to this bill, which prioritizes timber over other uses of the land and creates categorical exclusions that could harm the land and the recreation experience.
