Stand up paddle (SUP) continues to impress and attract consumers, and more and more outdoor retailers are carrying SUP products. Is this the foundation of an entire category or a passing trend?  Regardless of the answer, retailers are clamoring to get in on the SUP craze and turn these new outdoor customers into loyal evangelists. Tyler Callaway, Director of Business Development at FCS/Surf Hardware International, and Earl Richmond, Owner of Colorado Kayak Supply, will explore the successes and challenges of selling SUP along with the importance of accessories and how they can increase sales. Retailers and sales reps will learn how to create relationships and maintain customers by outfitting them with the proper gear and using clinics and events to engage them in the continually cresting wave of SUP enthusiasm. Tyler and Earl will also share critical participation and point-of-sales information, along with continuing trends that are affecting SUP retailers. Whether you are already selling SUP in your store, or are considering it, it might be time to look at the SUP category differently. A single hour investment could create some significant returns.

This event is made possible through the generous support of and collaboration with Outdoor Retailer/Nielsen Business Media.
